Best hostel in Goa, hands down. 🤍 It’s very close to Vagator beach!! The open spaces and beautiful breakout areas give you so much room to just breathe, relax, and connect. I stayed in a private room and honestly, it felt no less than a cozy villa vibe — comfortable, peaceful, and thoughtfully done. The people running the place are incredibly helpful and humble. They make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. And just like the name suggests, you truly end up making some special friends here. There’s a certain magic this place holds — the kind that turns a stay into a memory you carry back with you. ✨

A chilled-out nature retreat just a short walk from Vagator beach. Excellent value for money. We stayed in a private room, all set within small huts surrounded by calm, natural greenery. It’s a peaceful setting, yet still social — with a lovely treehouse, relaxed hangout areas, and a bar. There was always good music playing throughout the day. The staff were warm, helpful, and professional. The location is ideal, and we were even able to arrange a scooter easily through the guesthouse next door. Nothing to fault — it exceeded expectations.

Great Hostel in a really good location. The staff are exceptional and really made me feel welcome. It's clean, has all the facilities needed, well managed, I had a fantastic four days here. It's quite a way from the airport so I booked a transfer in advance which was a little more expensive but well worth it

I originally booked this hostel for just three nights, but I ended up staying for a month – that should say everything about how good the place is. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and laid-back. The dorms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to feel at home right away. What really sets this hostel apart, though, is the vibe. Every night, people gather, share stories, and unwind together, creating a community feeling that’s rare to find. The evenings are always filled with chill scenes – sometimes music, sometimes long conversations, but always a relaxed and friendly energy. Travelers from all over the world come and go, but there’s never a dull moment. The highlight of my stay, however, was the host - goes by his nom de plume Papa Raja. More than just running the place, he became a genuine friend. His warm hospitality, openness, and easy-going nature made the hostel feel less like accommodation and more like a second home. If you’re looking for a place where you can meet amazing people, relax, and truly enjoy your time, this hostel is perfect. What was supposed to be a short trip turned into almost a month of unforgettable memories. Highly recommended.

Had an amazing stay at the hostel in Goa! The vibe was absolutely chill and full of energy — perfect mix of fun and relaxation. Met some great people, and the place had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Special mention to Rajendar — such a good vibe! He made the whole experience even more fun and memorable. Had a fantastic stay at Mitra Vagator! The location is perfect—very close to Vagator Beach and popular spots, making it easy to explore and enjoy Goa. Mitra Hostel Goa was such a vibe! 🌴✨ Big shoutout to Kartik & Anmay for making the experience even better 🙌 The place is super lively and perfect for Gen Z – you’ll never feel alone here. Plus, it’s within walking distance of Vagator Beach 🏖️, which makes it even more perfect! The staff is very friendly and chill, always making sure you’re comfortable. It’s one of those happening spots where you instantly feel the energy and connect with people. If you’re in Goa and looking for a fun, social stay – this is a must visit! 💯

We absolutely loved our stay at Mitra Hostel! The location is fantastic, with the beach just a short walk away. Kartik was a wonderful host who made us feel right at home and ensured we had a great time. To top it all off, the hostel has the cutest little cat that made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended!
